Orofacial pain is pain coming from the oral region, head, and neck. Pain is a very complex topic, and can have more than one cause.
Dr. Bachelder's goal is a proper diagnosis, and to find the best management to reduce or eliminate your pain. Sometimes pain comes from teeth, and therapy is very straight forward. Sometimes pain is referred from other parts of your body, maybe a jaw joint issue, other times it can be from your jaw muscles. Some pain is neuropathic in origin, and sometimes it’s a combination of referred pain, joint pain, muscle pain, neuropathic pain, and additional factors.
Depending on the type of pain/headache/condition, Dr. Bachelder will work with you to find the best course of action for treating your pain.
